• ​YOU MAY BRING AS MANY EXTRA TABLES, SHELVING, CHAIRS AS YOU LIKE AS LONG AS IT FITS IN YOUR SPACE. –You cannot take tables/chairs from other booths if you are caught doing this Demers will bill you. See DEMERS Expo Manager if you need more.​
  
• NO REFUNDS. If the event is postponed, payment will be forwarded to a rescheduled event.
  

By ordering a space you are agreeing to the list of terms and conditions. 

• DEALERS MAY NOT USE ANYTHING THAT WILL DAMAGE THE ARENA WALLS TO MOUNT THEIR DISPLAYS. The exhibitor will be held responsible for any costs resulting from damage to the wall if they happen. 
• Artist/Dealer's exhibits/tables may not intrude in the aisles in front of or to the side of the dealer's tables. Walkway space needs to be maintained in accordance with the rules of the Mohegan Sun Fire Marshal. 
  
• All Exhibitors must be packed up and all products and materials owned by said dealer must be entirely removed from the convention space by 9:00 PM EST on Sunday.  
  
• All artists/vendors/exhibitors assume entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and save TERRIFICON (Big Fedora Marketing, LLC.) and the MOHEGAN SUN and all their employees and agents harmless against all claims, losses and damages to person or property, governmental charges and or fines and attorney fees arising out of or caused by exhibitor’s installation, removal, occupancy or use of the exhibition premises or any part thereof.  
  
• Exhibitors agree to hold TERRIFICON and any of its production partners harmless from loss or damage of merchandise or injury sustained during attendance at its events. TERRIFICON takes no responsibility for items lost or stolen, it is up to vendors to carry insurance for their goods. 
  
• Please keep in mind that this is a Family Event. Absolutely no nudity or pornographic material may be sold or displayed at this event. The sale of weapons is strictly prohibited.  
  
• YOU CANNOT HAVE ANY GAMES OF CHANCE - WHEELS OF FORTUNE OR GUMBALL MACHINES THAT HAVE PRIZES OF VARYING VALUES.
• TAXES: Exhibitor understands that the State of Connecticut Dept. of Revenue Service requires that you pay taxes to the state on all of your sales within the State of CT.  
  

FAQs - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

• EXHIBITOR WRISTBANDS will be given to you at on-site Load-In.​ 10' x 10' Booth vendors may purchase additional passes at load-in. They are $75 for a 3-day Vendor Pass. The Limit is 3. 
• SIGNAGE: 10 x 10 booths and Exhibitor Tables come with a 7”x44” exhibitor ID sign  (not to exceed thirty-six characters). Note Artists Alley & Cosplay Tables do not have signage.
  
• Payment MUST accompany application/contract. Submitting an order form without payment does not secure a space.
  
• The placement of exhibitor spaces will be at the discretion of Con management. Requests for specific locations will not be accepted.
  
• Mohegan Sun provides free Wi-Fi. Login information will be posted.
  
• If you need an electrical hookup, you MUST contact Demer's Expo directly. Use the Order form link listed above.
  
• Demers Exposition Services is the approved decorator for the 2024 “TERRIFICON®: CT’s Terrific Comic Con” event taking place AUGUST 16-18, 2024. They will send information in advance with the load-in/out information. Read the EXHIBITOR SERVICE KIT MANUAL pdf that will be posted in May, if you need to order additional tables or display material. Reading and understanding this information will save time and avoid confusion during your move-in. Our FLOOR MANAGERS will be there to answer any questions you have.

Nice to e-meet all of you, on behalf of TERRIFICON Demers and Mohegan Sun, welcome!

• We ask you please read and follow the instructions below and attached.
• YOU WILL GO TO BEAR LOT! SEE PDF FOR INSTRUCTIONS!

• Thursday move in, is highly suggested with the number of vendors who will be accessing the EXPO lot.
  
• All vendors MUST report to the BEAR LOT area
  
• When you check in you will get wristbands

The loading dock and POV lot are available for ACTIVE UNLOADING ONLY. Active unloading means that you unload everything when you arrive, then MOVE YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE unpacking your items and setting up your booth space. Your vehicle must remain ON with your lights ON when you are unloading- this is a strict mandate from the Mohegan Tribal Health and Safety Department. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE US CHASE AFTER YOU to move your vehicle. 

Move-In Hours:
Thursday, AUGUST 15th 2:00pm-8:00pm*
*You must check into the marshalling yard no later than 8pm, you may stay in the hall and continue your booth setup until 9pm.

Friday, AUGUST 16th 7:00am-12:30pm
* You must check into the marshalling yard no later than 12pm, set up in the hall may continue until the Show opens at 1:00pm

Move-Out Hours:
Sunday, AUGUST 18th 5:00pm-8:00pm

All doors will be locked, and no outside access will be granted prior to 5pm. Early Move-Out is strictly prohibited.

CONNECTICUT SALES TAX INFORMATION:
Connecticut State Sales Tax information: Vendors at Flea Markets, Craft Shows, Fairs, Etc., Must Obtain a Connecticut Sales Tax Permit

You must obtain a Sales and Use Tax Permit from the Connecticut Department of Revenue Service if you will be selling at a flea market, craft show, trade show, antique show, fair, etc. in Connecticut even if you will only be making sales for one day. You must display the permit prominently in your booth or table. You must obtain a Sales and Use Tax Permit before making any sales. The requirement to obtain a permit applies to individuals, corporations, partnerships, and all other business entities that will make sales in this state, regardless of the number of sales that will be made or the amount of tax that will be collected. As a seller, you are responsible for collecting sales and use taxes and you are liable for their payment whether or not you collect them as required from your customers. You must file returns and pay the full amount of tax due DRS.

Note: Failure to obtain a tax permit will result in a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment of not more than three months, or both, for each offense. You need to file for a business tax permit with the CT Department of Revenue Service, and you must pay taxes to the state on all of your sales within the State of Connecticut, excluding non-taxable items. The license generally costs $100 and lasts for 5 years (That's $20 per year for being able to do business within CT.) You can find the information/forms you need on their website:
