TERRIFICON® - CT's Terrific Comic Con is owned, produced and organized by Mitch Hallock's Big Fedora Marketing, LLC. In 2012, Mr. Hallock combined his lifelong love of comics and his professional career as a Marketing and Creative Director to produce his version of the "Greatest Comic Show on Earth". Over the past ten years, the exuberant responses from fans and the comic professionals and media guests who have been guests have reaffirmed that he has indeed created the "TERRIFIC" comic con! 

As a Connecticut native, Mr. Hallock takes pride in the rich history the Nutmeg State has factored into the world of comics. From being the place where first ever comic book printed in America, Funnies on Parade, to being the home to so many great artists and writers over the years.

"I am not into producing the same cookie-cutter style con you see in many parts of the country. Each year, I craft a theme for the upcoming show and build around it. I want attendees to be thoroughly entertained and have terrific memories when they leave and start counting down the days until the next show." says Hallock.

TERRIFICON®, is just one of the many projects that Hallock produces in Connecticut. In addition, he appears weekly on the Chaz and AJ Morning show in Connecticut where he has been crowned with the moniker, "King of the Nerds". There is also his CTGAMERCON, the annual event created in 2017 that celebrates video and tabletop games also at Mohegan Sun. He can also be found "nerding out" on the Power Cosmic Podcastwith his friend, legendary artist and writer Jerry Ordway, reporting and talking Indiana Jones on the IndyCast podcast and TheRaider.net website since 2007, occasional guest co-host of the WESU radio show Pint O' Comics, and reviewing classic movies and TV shows with his pal Ed Dolista on the YouTube show, Mitch & Ed's Excellent Adventure. 

​When he is not planning the next TERRIFICON®, Hallock can be found reading and talking comics at Cave Comics in Newtown, Connecticut with anyone who will listen to him!
